I approach the electric bass from two polar opposites - one of finding the perfect part for a given song, and the other destroying the bass role completely and trying different approaches with pedals, effects, sonic textures, and melody.

You have a smooth couple of riffs in mind, so you put it down on a track with a gross bass line but here’s the issue, you and your bassist don’t play drums; thankfully I do. I have the kit, the microphones, the interface, and DAW to emphasize just how smooth those chords are connecting in your song. ✌🏻🎵

It wasn’t until early 2018 when he started using FL Studio (Daw he uses today). “KL” is short for Kayy Luciano but his usual brand name is ProdByKL.
