Hello! I am a violin/fiddle/mandolin/guitar utility player and I’ve spent my career in the in the studio (and on the road) with many Grammy award winning multi-platinum artists as a performer, music director, string arranger, contractor, and songwriter. I also had the incredible honor of living with and being mentored by Levon Helm of The Band.
As an experienced songwriter, I only provide quality work until the client is happy. I work based out of Mercy Sound Studios NYC for the best results for my clients.
I'm a session pianist/keyboardist and producer who's worked in New York City (US), Berlin (DE), and Louisville (US). My strengths are in pop, R&B, hip hop, psych, rock, alternative, jazz, improvised music, composition and arranging. Some of the artists I've worked with are Katie Toupin (US), Jerry Paper (US), Stimulus (DE), and Joanna Teters (US).
After gigging worldwide with a wide array of artists from All Sons & Daughters to Katie Herzig, I've really enjoyed diving into home recording and music production. Collaboration is huge for me. I love melding styles and ideas to make a track unique and one of a kind. My home setup is humble, but I find that limitations nurture creativity.
Former lead singer of the Little River Band who has worked on (literally) thousands of advertising jingles over my 45 years career.
I make songs that stick in your head—crafted from the ground up. As both an artist and songwriter, I bring a unique perspective to production. I understand how a track needs to breathe for the artist, where the emotion hits hardest, and how to make hooks hit harder.
