Great experience. Mike took a complex song I gave him with some limited vocal performances on my part and made the song shine. He has a very good ear, a love for music, good beside manner and a very strong technical skill set. He ran with my comments with quick turnarounds. He's a safe bet and super fun to work with. Work with him!

Interview with Mike San Music

  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: My studio consists of a control room that doubles as a lounge area, with a vocal booth to one side. It's a modest setup, but the sound treatment and gear make it a powerful little setup.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: An indie electronic pop album, a few pop singles, the occasional hip hop track, and a few remote mixing gigs. Fun stuff!

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: My promise is to provide top quality product as well as a nurturing, fun, and safe environment where artists are given the space they need to grow as artists, publish their work, be themselves, and follow their dreams in the music world.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Guitar and mixing are my strong suites. I also play piano, bass, and anything MIDI related

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I always work hard on each project to create a final product that is in harmony with the artist's vision.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: Typically I'll first find out what my client is looking to do creatively, and then I'll shape my workflow accordingly.
