My name is Steve Rutledge. I am a Producer/Engineer as well as a Professional Guitarist/Bass/Keys/vocalist. I was in Nashville for 15 years on the road and in the studio sessions with a lot of major artists as MD/Lead guitarist/BGV. I started Steel String Recording Studio in 2001.
Experienced Audio Engineer, with specialties in vocal tuning, and vocal arrangement.
Berklee Professional Certificate current candidate. A graduate of the Recording Artist Program at The Musician's Institute in Hollywood, I recorded my own album without a label and through a distribution deal, I have had my music placed on the Academy Awards, Olympics and a multitude of international media.
I've been featured as a solo violinist on such productions as the Netflix show Sense8, the Daniel Radcliffe film 'Jungle', the Chinese feature film 'In Full Bloom' and the PBS documentary 'T-Rex-Her Fight For Gold'. I provide an intimate and poignant sound, can improvise, read midi or sheet music, create textures and soundscapes.
I am a 21 year old producer from the UK, studying under scholarship at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I am adaptable to every project, but specialise in modern hip-hop and pop styles. I can commit myself to your sound and can produce top quality, industry-quality music that is unique and compelling to a listener.
