I have been playing the harmonica for nearly forty years. During this time I have played with bands of various styles gigging in the UK and in Europe. I have been involved in recordings with Rollin Records which included two single releases - 'Return of Jerome' and 'Train to Bopville'. I write and record tracks with my band, The Brothers of Mothers

The classical guitar has taken me around the world giving me 40+ years of experience in performing, composing and recording. As a sound engineer and music producer I have recorded hundreds of albums, I have specialized in recording guitars and classical music, and I have produced records for Deutsche Grammophon, Glosa and Opera Tres.

Cathal is a full-time producer/session musician based in Edinburgh and working out of Studio FortyTwo.
