I'm Tim, and I run Full of Joy Studios in north Wales, United Kingdom. With many years of experience and a huge variety of projects, I am able to offer many diverse services at an extremely high quality, professional level.
My name is Genesis Urena and I am an audio engineer with an acoustically treated home studio. 30 years of experience on stage and in the studio add up to a huge amount of passion and musicality in every detail. The combination of a classically trained understanding for real instruments and voices plus electronic sounddesign have enthralled artists like Nena, Xavier Naidoo or André Heller.
I am a science and sound freak. Working with singing bowls, binaural beats to achieve the closest reality I can to what is "pure sound". This is derived from how we perceive music and the overtone series. I use this knowledge with saturation, and compression to empathically fill your music with confidence and at the same time pull the listener in.
I love collaborating with artists who need help crossing the finish line with their music, ranging from string arrangements to full production. My band, The Nineteen Twenty, released our first album which we wrote, produced, and recorded entirely on Zoom. In theatre, I've worked with Cyndi Lauper, Huey Lewis, The Avett Brothers, and Lamont Dozier.
Having been on both sides of music production I value and understand what’s needed to produce outstanding results on every project and my goal is to understand each client and their ambitions so deeply that when I deliver my work it feels like a true representation of your unique vision and a genuine collaboration between client and producer.
