Bon Ai (Bonani Jula) is a young producer from a small town Margate, South Africa. I grew up loving music from recording tape cassettes to vinyl's at a time where war was raging music was my sanctuary. No one taught me how to make music, because of my passion for music I had to make myself work though the odds were backed against me.
Over the past 10 years I've worked with a wide variety of artists in different genres across the board helping them get that complete, professional, radio-ready sound they've been looking for. I am a very well seasoned engineer with 20 of engineering and 18 teaching. I have experience from everything to micing drums, working with outboard gear, customer service, fully running the ends and outs of a recording studio for 10 years, hiring, team leader, troubleshooting and beyond.
I'm a guitarist-songwriter and melody maker, I worked with Colombian urban artists, such as Mr. Pablo, Los Petitfellas. My strongest skills are the creation of guitars for multiple styles focused on groove, (bolero, salsa, rock, rap, funk, jazz, acoustic) and mixing the best of each world. We can make a good song becomes something incredible.
