Interview with David Wilkowski

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Since I'm young, I would say Digital. I haven't got in touch with a lot of Analog gear so far.

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: I’d take my MacBook and headphones. That’s all I’d need to keep creating and staying productive. Oh, and a microphone.

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I started producing music in 2018, initially just for fun, without knowing much about the craft. In 2021, I began to take it more seriously, setting goals and pushing myself to improve.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: I would say it lies in creating catchy melodies that stick with listeners, something that really defines my music.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: I have a small home studio with an Apollo Twin Duo interface, Adam Audio monitors, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro headphones, and a variety of audio plugins. It’s all about having the right tools to bring my ideas to life.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: I’m most inspired by the Swedish duo Jubël. I really love their style of music, and it motivates me to create something with a similar vibe.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: I offer music production services, whether it’s creating a complete song or providing co-production assistance for those who need help with certain aspects of their project.
