I've written, produced and/or sang on thousands of songs for myself, other artists like MAX and Gnash, labels like Armada, Cloudkid and Soave, film/tv, etc.
Good music makes you feel something, so if it doesn't feel right, it's not right. I'm an experienced writer, singer, producer, and session musician. When you hire me, more than my vocal cords, fingers, rhyming ability or technical knowledge, you're paying for my artistic sensibility and taste. I take that seriously and emotionally invest in every project I take on while keeping a professional and complimentary attitude.
I specialize in song writing and vocal tracks but also offer the following add ons or services:
-Harmonies/Doubles
-Demo instrumental/beat (for writing a song from scratch without a provided instrumental/beat)
-Arrangement/Production (creation of polished, release-ready instrumental/beat)
How it works:
-Message me and let’s get your project finished and ready to pitch or release!
-Once the project is funded, I will book a date in the studio to get started on your project.
-My turn around time is quick but if you need something ASAP, ask about my expedited pricing
My artist name 'Roet' is not available for features. My artist name 'Zach Alwin' is available for features if the final mix is approved by management. My artist name 'ALVN' is available for anyone I collaborate with.

Interview with Zach Alwin
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Clients often think that they can get better results by giving me less direction and more freedom but the opposite ends up being true. As much as I try not to, I tend to play it safer when I don't know what a client wants.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Interface, Mic, Keyboard, Guitar .... anything else is just really just icing on the cake.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Whatever it needs.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A new R&B solo project.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Do less but do it better.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: YES. They both have their place.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Having cool songs to be proud of at the end of the day.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know what you want. If I'm confident in the direction I need to take a song, it allows me to focus more on making it kick ass.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It’s all about workflow.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I like a lot of the classics & new talent as well. It’s important to have a map of where we’ve been to try to see where we’re going. Singers - Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Jeff Buckley, Nate Ruess, Khalid, Charlie Puth Writers - Fiona Apple, Bruno Mars, Ben Folds, Drake Producers - Porter Robinson, Max Martin, Jon Brion, Jeff Bhasker, Neiked

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It’s all about workflow... making it quick and easy to go from idea to record-ready execution. You can find my note-worthy gear in the studio highlights section.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to work fast. Get the idea out as quickly as possible and then fix whatever isn’t working after. Momentum is your friend.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting/topline work tends to be the most common but I also do a lot of vocal tracks and productions.
