My name is Steve Rutledge. I am a Producer/Engineer as well as a Professional Guitarist/Bass/Keys/vocalist. I was in Nashville for 15 years on the road and in the studio sessions with a lot of major artists as MD/Lead guitarist/BGV. I started Steel String Recording Studio in 2001.
Performed at the Academy Awards alongside Beyoncé and Billie Eilish. Hollywood session flutist with credits on Moana 2, Arcane, and Minari, specializing in orchestral and world flutes for film, TV, and games. Flutes include piccolo, C flute, alto, bass, Bansuri, Native Flute, Ocarina, and more. Conservatory-trained at Colburn and USC.
Former bass/keys/background singer for Audio Adrenaline (two GRAMMY® Awards, five GMA Dove Awards, a GOLD®-certified recording, and 14 #1 Christian radio singles) as well as lead singer/rhythm guitar player/primary songwriter for Wavorly (2 #1 Christian radio singles). I play piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, and sing.
I take my work VERY seriously! I LOVE working on good music, I can't stand working on bad music! I was lucky enough to engineer and do some mixing on the song Money Made Me Do It by Post Malone! I also mixed a great record for Desiigner called "Shoot". HIT ME UP
