Raphael was raised in a family of musicians. His parents had a hippie-folk band and as a child he came into contact with music cultures from all over the world. 2000 he studied drums and and has worked as a pro drummer since then. He then played in the dancehall reggae band Mono and Nikitaman. Musically,he is deeply rooted in the world music scene.
There is no progress without struggle
The world is a well, I watch as people are trying to claw their way up. It isn't my privilege to stand there, but my responsibility. My words are my strength and my music is the rope by which I hope, of pulling up every soul I possibly can. Although I am finite, my work immortalizes me, allowing me to forever help others out of the darkness.
I have recorded trumpet/flugelhorn for over 100 released songs and play professionally in live bands with styles such as jazz, pop, hip hop, afro beat, reggae and progressive rock in Sweden and Denmark. I offer arrangements, layers of trumpets/flugelhorns and improvised solos.
