MRI, primarily known as Richard-Iain Mc Clashie, is a young, passionate and dedicated adherent to an art form which has captured his imagination, heart and creative genius. Having been exposed to key rich and diverse musical genres which left lasting impressions upon him, a love for music production blossomed at age fifteen.
Patrick began as a drummer and vocalist as a young child. He's since picked up the bass and keys and began producing music a little over 10 yrs ago. Since then, Patrick has been honing his craft in recording/mixing, apprenticing under Producer/Engineer Wayne Becker. Patrick is also enrolled in Berklee's Music Production Degree Program.
I used to create songs from the zero, using inspirations from movies, history, and all that the world gives to us, I also have a great way to use my feelings while I create a song, and not only the feelings related to love, but all the negative and stranger things that we can think about
I'm an LA-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. I love helping to see a work to its full potential and be part of the collective creative process.
