Audio engineer, music mixer and sound designer based in Paris, France.

I have studied computer science and audiovisual technologies and then did a bit of FOH work for a couple of bands in Paris then I have moved on and mixed EPs for bands. The past 3 years, I have worked with two music composer as sound designer and recording engineer. Lately I have been working as an audio editor for two short movies and really enjoyed working on that!

What I really enjoy is getting involved and working with the artist to really grasp what they want to pass as emotions and what they want to achieve with their project.

Interview with Nick Rigaudière

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe that it would be the fact that I have a background of computer science and electronic engineering which allows me to have a different vision on the technical aspect of things. Combined with being a musician for more than 15 years now without any knowledge on music theory gives me another perspective on things
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mainly work "in the box" from my home studio with a pair of Adam Audio T5V and a Motu Ultralite mk3. I have access to a few Paris based recording studios if I need a better setup or to record a band.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am greatly inspired by artists like The Beatles and David Bowie for the influence they had on modern audio recording and on music in general. Regarding modern artists, the sound that Nils Frahm, Anderson .Paak or Billie Eilish can have are really inspiring, you feel that they put their souls into their work.
