Simon Moro is a music producer & mixer with over two decades of experience. He has trained with two of the industry’s best: David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Imogen Heap, Lana Del Ray, Jeff Buckley) and Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Grizzly Bear, The Rolling Stones). He has had ARIA nominated work, #1 debuts.
I like to make music that feels good. Whether that means it's surgical and clean or pumping with compression and distortion; whatever makes your music feel good, I am excited to find and execute for you.
I am a craftsman of indie/progressive rock songs with elements of electronica, acoustic instrumentation and electric guitars, inspired by the likes of Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, Blonde Redhead, Bon Iver, Nick Drake, Portishead, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Pulp, PJ Harvey, etc. I play a little of everything and would love to collaborate.
I have access to great mixing equipment, and plugins, with 4 year experience, and 5 year experience as a producer in all genres, although mainly pop, and rap. I am also a songwriter with 8 year experience. I work out of Grizzly Studios, based in Vancouver, and will use all my advantages to help you and your sound.
