Since my first audio job in 1966, I’ve recorded/mixed with countless producers, directors, actors, composers, arrangers, vocalists, and musicians. I have a special affinity for music in particular and for the performing arts in general.

My credits include Coco Montoya, Chris Duarte, Hal Ketchum, The Drifters, Archie Bell and the Drells, The Chiffons, The Tokens, Doyle Bramhall Sr, Tony Nominee Mary Bridgett Davies, Andrew Rannells and Grammy Winner Drew Womack.

I earned my degree in general social studies. Work at Service To Enhance Potential, 12/9/14- present. And I go to The East Vernor Church Of God In Christ Detroit, MI.

Most notably working on Strictly Come Dancing's Professionals tour - his orchestral work with A R Ameen and Rameez Sohail has also gained a global audience. Benton has also worked with names such as Sam Roman (RØMANS), Ian Masterson and Ron Pucillo. He has scored hundreds of additional independent projects - notably RPG Kalyskah.
