Hoboken HiFi is owned by dub producer Jim the Boss. Jim believes in giving everyone a unique and organic sound. He has risen in reggae communities as creator, along side his studio band, of the Hudson Soul sound which is a dry, crisp sound reminiscent of 1970s Channel One era reggae music.We also record Jazz, Soul, Blues, Latin, Calypso and Folk.
Over the past 15 years have worked on tracks that have been streamed over 3 billion times.
I have been producing for almost eight years, written and produced more than 100 songs, and toured with a metalcore band as a bass player during the summer of 2016. Currently my focus is on mixing and mastering.
