Hey, I'm Matt Mullen. I have been a drummer for over 10 years and have been in multiple bands with many different styles. I currently drum for Them Dead Poets, a bluesy-rock band out of Chicago. I have a home studio where we have self-produced our own records in addition to other projects. I look forward to working with you!
Graduate student living in Pittsburgh, PA studying Entertainment Management. After nine years of classical piano training, I applied my skills in music theory and song structure to jazz bass, folk/blues guitar, pop/RnB keyboards & synths, electronic production, and a wide range of vocal styles.
As a songwriter and band leader, I understand how to enhance, and not overpower the main message: you. I provide melodic and rhythmic support to folk, bluegrass, americana and other acoustic styles. My performance career with Pinegrass has taught me the value of rhythmic drive, and fine acoustic tone.
