We agreed on three rounds of revisions. After the first mix, I sent over a few small tweaks. Jerin responded by sending back the exact same file, claiming he made the changes. When I proved the file sizes and timestamps were identical, he locked me out of the shared Google Drive folder.
Like, really dude?

The turnaround time was supposed to be 14 days. It took eight months. I had to push back my entire album release schedule twice because this joke of a producer kept claiming his hard drive crashed, then he was sick, then he was 'out of town.' Exhausting experience.

The mic he used for my acoustic guitar sounded like it was bought at a toy store. Constant hissing and floor noise on every single recording. I had to scrap the entire session and re-record it in my bedroom closet just to get a usable take.

Rushed through the entire writing session like we were on an assembly line. Anytime I suggested tweaking a lyric or trying a different chord progression, he just sighed and said 'this is fine, let's just move on to the bridge.' The final song has no soul because he refused to spend more than 45 minutes on it.

We agreed on standard WAV stems in the contract. Instead, he sent me the raw project files in some outdated, proprietary DAW format that my engineer couldn't even open. When I asked him to just bounce the stems properly, I never heard back from him ever again.

His work turned out to be horrible anyways.

His portfolio sounds incredible, but I am 100% convinced he did not produce those reference tracks. The person, or rather, entity, who ran our Zoom sessions didn't even know basic Pro Tools shortcuts and kept having to look up YouTube tutorials just to route my mic properly. Complete bait and switch.

He literally pays an AI generator subscription in order to have the illusion of having an ounce of talent.
I don't want to imagine what those other people actually experienced all those years ago, before the invention of the lazy shortcut.

He randomly accused me of making homophobic remarks when I didn't make any.
Extremely unprofessional.
I think he's an untreated bipolar.

Extremely unprofessional environment. He kept bringing his friends into the control room while I was trying to record a very personal vocal take. When I asked for a closed session so I could focus, he called me a diva. Never working with them again.
