Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I worked on Dani Amara's project (Upcoming Artist). I'm very proud of it because her and the producer (Gregg Pagani) allowed me to write the whole project and it came out excellent. Me and Dani were going through very similar things relationship wise and we were able to bond through that. Having her fun, loving, charismatic energy in the studio was great and we have some dope memories. She's like a sister to me and just working and connecting like that through the music is something special. Also, working with Gregg (Producer) was really dope too cause we vibed and joked a lot and just had a lot of fun! He came up with some great trax and we altogether just had a great time working on the project. Also, We've received some very positive feedback on the project and it's going to come out soon.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm currently working on cover songs, hook ideas for rappers and new songs for the catalogue.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital. I do love the sound and warmth of analog but I just think digital is easier to work out of.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will make sure you LOVE IT!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Everything! being able to create is such a freeing feeling. Literally coming up with something out of a small thought, which could be seen essentially as, thin air. It's great! And it's a blessing to be able to work with others and share memories and experiences and meet great people.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: They ask me how long I've been doing this and what made me get into music. I tell them I've been doing this for 15+ years and I've always had a love for music and knew it was what I'm meant to do.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that you need a fancy studio to make "radio ready, professional sounding" material and that's not true. It's about having the knowledge to utilize the tools you have. Less is more.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I ask them what they're vision is for the song or project. Also, I ask them what their expectations are.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I'm pretty down to earth and chill. I'm here to deliver a great product for you.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Logic Pro, Pro Tools 10, Scarlett Saphire Interface, Sony Mojave Mic, and a basic midi keyboard

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: My Career path is to be a songwriter/ producer. I've been doing this for 15+ years.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I'd describe my style as a mix of Ratchet RnB with Poppy Catchiness.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I'd love to work with Drake one day because I love his melodic sense and his lyrical approach. I love how he's authentic and real in all of his music. You can feel the story and visualize the lyrics like a story in your head. I'd also, like to work with PartyNextdoor because I think he's a dope writer and producer and he brings something unique to the table. Furthermore, I'd love to work with Ty Dolla Sign. I think he's incredibly talented and he brings something unique to RnB

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Less is always more

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: RnB, Trap Soul, and Pop

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is my Singing and my sense for melodies.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring unique sounding vocals and a unique songwriting perspective. I grew up studying and listening to a lot of RnB, Rap and Pop and through the years I've been able to combine all of those elements in my writing. I'm very focused on the "Catchiness" of a song. Melodies are always top priority in my opinion.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I typically just sit down and work. I like to have a "get it done" attitude. Also, I like to just have fun and enjoy the process.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio setup is fairly basic but I know how to use what I have. I have a Macbook Pro running Logic pro with an AKG Perception 220 mic, waves plugins and autotune.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I'm inspired by Drake, Ty Dolla Sign, Travis Scott, PartyNextdoor, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Daniel Caesar, etc.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Demoing Vocals, Songwriting and session piano playing are my most common types of work I do for clients.
