SHIHORI is an international pop singer-songwriter from Japan who composes and performs solo work, as well as music for film, TV, anime and games.
She’s best known for her collaborations with Yoko Kanno (known for Cowboy Bebop) and Kohei Tanaka (known for One Piece). She has written over 130 songs for Japan’s artists and for such famed shows as My Little Pony, Fairy Tail and The Irregular at Magic High School.
Many of her releases have made Japan’s hit chart with 13 of her hits having attained Gold Disc Certification. This includes her 3rd single which ranked #5 on the Singles Daily charts in 2009.
In 2018 she moved to the U.S. where she’s performed extensively and recently enjoyed
international success performing lead vocals on “The Real Folk Blues” (#6 on the Billboard World Digital Chart) as well as composed and performed the “Battle Queens 2020” theme song for the game League of Legends.
With the rising popularity of Japanese style music in the international anime and game industry, she brings her advanced skills and experiences in the J-pop industry and her English language skills to provide high quality performances for international clients.
