Carl is truly a star within the whole music spectrum. I asked for a mix+master of my latest track. What he did was not only mix+master it, but without any charge added a nice Carl Merlyn touch to it which became a more "radio version", which I really wasn't expecting.
I was blown away with the version he did and I couldn't agree more on continuing with it.
Can't recommend Carl enough for his patience, quick work, musical skills and an ear for that little extra you want to achieve but hard to explain what it is - luckily Carl has it. Five stars and will def come back for more!

A: I'm also involved in my DJ/Artist project known as "Carl Merlyn."

A: Rory Hopes, Jordan Grace & Myah Marie are great singers.

A: In terms of equipment, I'm focused on digital tools and don't currently have any analog gear.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: In 2017, I started my journey to make this my main profession. Numerous songs have come to fruition since then. Despite lacking a musical background, I've achieved what I do today. However, the true essence lies in the relationships and networks formed throughout this artistic voyage and above all, the personal growth that transpires.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My approach is rooted in emotion and personality rather than merely chasing a trendy sound.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: In terms of artists, I'm eager to collaborate with The Weeknd and Justin Bieber. As for producers, I have a strong desire to work alongside Max Martin, Shellback, and Steve Angello.

A: I commence by organizing the numerous files provided by my client. Subsequently, I initiate the process of channel leveling, followed by panning adjustments. Afterward, I employ various techniques to enhance the track's vitality and overall presentation.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I possess a quality studio arrangement featuring an iMac 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7, complemented by dual Adam T7V monitors, a Komplete Kontrol S49 MK2, a Focusrite interface, a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO headphones, and the SoundID Reference software for hardware coloration cancellation.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
