Hey Guys! I'm Aleesia. I love to top-line DJ records & can pretty much sound like whoever you want me to, vocally. I'm the girl who wrote and sang on Martin Garrix/DVBBS/Sander Van Doorn's "Gold Skies" & Robin Shulz' "Love Me Loud". I specialize in Pop, Dance, Urban & K-Pop - so hit me if you need a singer, some lyrics, a top-line or all of it!
I have written and worked with music creators across all genres from Big Sean, Martin Garrix, DVBBS and Robin Schulz to JR Rotem, The Stereotypes, Rodney Jerkins and Circuit.
I have extensive experience in top-lining for DJs in the Electronic/Dance/House world, and writing with artists in the Pop/Urban/K-Pop world as well. I love music, people and travelling - so one of my favourite things to do is collaborate with people from across the world, who I don't even know, on something so personal : a piece of art!
For MELODY/TOP-LINE :
- Turnaround time is 5-10 days for full delivery of stems (obviously dependant on how many revisions we make)
- Typically I send over a rough melodic scratch, for confirmation & I'm very open to making changes
- I'll send over a general explanation of concept/lyrics for approval before cutting vocals to make sure you're happy
- I deliver dry stems (treated vocals, if needed at addition cost) inclusive of leads, stacks, harmonies & ad libs
- *Feature vocalist ("Aleesia" listed in title) available at an extra fee
For DEMO VOCALIST/VOCALS :
- Turnaround time is 3-4 days
- Give me a vocal reference, and the song and voila. We good!
- Will make up to TWO changes on the recording, at your request
For LYRICS :
- I will take your melody & any reference/concept ideas you give me (if you have) & deliver a fully written song
Send me a note through the contact button above.

This is the third track I do with Aleesia. She's definitely one of the most talented and hard-working people I met in the industry.
Aleesia has worked with some serious industry moguls, but when you're working with her it is you who feel like a super star. She is attentive to your every request and is very supportive.
Responds extremely fast.
Not only you get fast turnover and super star treatment, she is also an amazing professional with a distinctive sense of style and very positive attitude. When she says, she'll be working on your track until you're 100% satisfied, she really means it!
Professionalism and quality. Aleesia is truly a 5-star singer!
Working with Aleesia was great! I wasn’t in a rush to have the vocal delivered, but she was still very timely and diligent throughout the process. Aleesia is very professional and considerate and I would definitely work with her again.
Such a lovely and taleneted human being. Great songwriter and magical voice. 10/10 would recommend!
Her voice is magically cute & unique. Quick job & response, really comfortable to work with.
Interview with Aleesia
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm usually writing top-lines and featuring on records for DJs/producers. They will send me a beat, or a couple tracks to choose from, and then I begin to write on it. I like to maintain in communication through the process, to ensure they are happy with the product, and I'm helping bring their vision to life.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I grew up with music idols Alicia Keys, Alanis Morisette, Beyonce, and Christina Aguilera. But as I continue through life as a writer, I'm super inspired by other singer/songwriters Ashe, Ed Sheeran, Julia Michaels, Anne-Marie. I'm also recently inspired by K-Pop and studying it's structure and melodic differentiators from Western music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a studio in my home in Toronto - I'm fully capable of cutting high quality vocals on my AKG c414. I work in Logic, so I'm open to either sending stems, or sharing the session, for those who are Logic users as well.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Character. Energy. Professionalism. I can mimic lots of different tones from soulful to super distinct and indie. I've been doing this recording artist thing for a while now so I'm quick at cutting and the quality is definitely there. I think where I can really help bring a song to life is with concept and lyrics. I love imagery, and stepping away from the generic rhymes you hear over and over again. I like to get a little deeper, a little left than the usual. I've always been a storyteller and LOVED writing poems even before I started writing music... so I think with me, you'll definitely get a unique angle on the lyric side of things.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Dance & Pop music - but recently I've been diving into more and more Kpop as well.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that I can be creative. I love that every day is a different story - that's how I come up with so many different ones. I love that I don't dread my work, because it is also my first love. I love that my work has taken me to different places in the world where I get to collaborate with and learn from other people just like me, with the same struggles and interests. I love that there is no end game. And I love how satisfying it is to nurture your idea like it's your baby, and then grow it until it's ready to get out into the world.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'm a perfectionist. Almost to my detriment. So I promise, that I won't close the book on our song, until you and I are both satisfied with the product!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: YES! Rachel West. She put me onto here! She's another amazing vocalist and songwriter, and she is so easy to work with. Check her out.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on an unreleased KPOP group at the moment, a handful of DJ features, and my own artist EP!
