Hi, My name is Zakk Merrell, I am a mixing engineer and a musician. I have done work that has involved the production of music such as: editing music for dance shows and competitions, and mixing and mastering projects, producing full album, and mixing for podcasts.
I started producing music on tape multitracks in the early 1990's. 25 years later, I'm now lucky enough to have the use of Teesside University's state-of-the-art Pro Tools HDX facility, and to work with some very talented people both at the university and at my record company, Coastline Records.
I have professionally worked in the music industry for over 12 years as both an Artist and Producer/Engineer. Mostly in Jacksonville and Orlando Florida but also in California as well. When I haven’t been working in the studio on a commercial project, I’ve been in the studio recording either a personal production or my own music.
