I feel like this is a really unique place to discover serious musicians. What I learned is to balance everything so 200 hertz is the same db as 8.0khz, even if the resolution of the tracks only allows for 4 samples of the low end and half a sample of the high end per second.
I have spent most of my life listening to and making heavy sounds. I now want to be able to help out other musicians get the atmosphere and feeling that they desire in their recordings.
