Jason Richmond is a Grammy nominated producer, engineer and mixer who has worked with such artists as The Avett Brothers, Joe Henry, The Steep Canyon Rangers, Kate McGarry, The Bad Plus, and The Foreign Exchange. Jason is grateful to work with talented musicians in beautiful spaces and be a part of the creative alchemy that brings forth a record.
Mixtown USA is an audio production, recording, mixing, and mastering company based in Los Angeles. We have been making records for artists, bands, and labels for the past decade and have worked in many genres including rock, pop, indie, and Americana.
I am a sound engineer and musician/composer from Corsica. I am the first Mastering Studio creator in Corsica. I do alll my best to join digital and high-end analog gears. I play drums (Jazz - trip hop - rock) and guitarist ( Alternative rock - Ambient rock )
Experience in the field doing a lot with a little, recording music and film across Latin America on a shoestring. Deep love for the music and attention to detail, a good ear for clean, balanced sound honed learning with a grammy winning mentor, and experience with innovative cross-genre fusions.

I can also very much be a powerhouse singer. I am familiar with all genres including R&B, Pop, Rock, Classical, Blues, Jazz Rock, Hip-Hop, and much more.
With Latin roots, studies in USA (Music and Audio Engineer) and living in Europe, I consider myself a professional with a wide variety of musical and social influences specialized in mixing and mastering with a great passion for musical production
