Hi, I’m Kirk Spencer — Producer • Mixer • Writer • Mentor Credits include work with Ilaiyaraaja, releases tied to major labels, and film scoring. I’ve taught at SubBass Academy and Production Music Live, running masterclasses that break down the full creation process in plain English.
PhD on Sound Arts by the Federal University of Goias (UFG), I teach sound engineering in the Federal Institute of Science and Technology in Goias (IFG). Since 2001 I have been working as a producer, mixing engineer and sound designer for music and films. My studio is based on the countryside of Brazil, in the city of Goias, but I can work remotely.
Co/Writing, LEAD and Harmony Vocals, TopLining and Guitar all recorded from my home studio. Co/Written and written songs that have been played on CBC,BBC,RTE and other stations around the world. Has worked in London, Nashville, Toronto, Dublin, Belfast and LA.
