Hi there, Eelco here. Thanks for visiting! I’ve been playing (electric & acoustic) guitar and writing, recording, producing, performing music for 30+ years. Teaching guitar for 20+ years at home & at various institutes, including the Amsterdam Conservatory. I play any style, from rock, funk, indie, soul, R&B, metal, pop, hiphop, dance, u name it.

I have been working in the music industry for some years now both as mixing/mastering engineer and session guitarist. Had my hands on hundreds of musical & audio projects from soundtracks to voiceovers for TV to indie-pop and (mostly) hard&heavy genres. Berklee alumnus and current mentor.

Making music better is my passion. Every time I sit down to mix I feel a pleasant warmth and it only gets more pleasant as I get closer to a beautiful result. I love and know how to learn, skillfully balancing what the client wants and what they need.

I specialize in alternative metal music. I use Pro Tools as main DAW, I have also mixed for other genres like classical, jazz, blues, country and folk/bluegrass music. I have been doing this since 1998. I very easy going, clean recordings, organized, and detailed oriented. I am helpful and also an educator.

In 2007, Mix engineer Jamie landed his first job as head recording and mix engineer at Antenna Studios in London. Here, he recorded demos for the likes of Florence and the Machine before entering the world of live sound working with Sam Smith,Will Young, Kylie Minogue, 2 Door Cinema club and having spent the last 5 years mixing Rag n Bone man.
