Internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, composer, engineer, and producer with documented innovative contributions from the European 80s DIY New Wave/Punk/Progressive music and art community, to the 90s New York City Downtown, Avantgarde, and Contemporary Jazz scene, and in the '00s, the new NYC electronica scene.

I have decades of music industry experience, from an early adoption of MIDI in the 80's, live sound reinforcement in the 90's, and production & mix engineering in the 2000's; all the while being a composer and session drummer. Always one for continually learning and updating my skill set, I have bachelor degrees in Audio Production and Visual Art.

Solid Air Music is owned and operated by Pete Mason who spent 17 years working in the UK for both major and independent record labels. Pete worked as Executive Producer on Paul Weller's live solo acoustic album "Days Of Speed." The album reached no.3 in the UK album charts and earned Pete a platinum disc award for his work.
