What makes me unique as an artist is a way I hear music and how it literally sounds in my head, the way my brain understands it and how my heart feels it. From here it just comes naturally: the lyrics, the concept, and the story. I write about a lot of things, but all of them involve some kind of feelings that I experienced.
Kevin Armstrong is the guitarist you may never have heard of, but have most certainly heard. He has had a stellar career since the early 1980s as sidekick for David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Morrissey, Sinéad O’Connor, Prefab Sprout, Thomas Dolby and host of others. He has played with a huge range of stars from Roy Orbison to Brian Eno.
Put simply, Douglas Roegiers is a highly skilled and extremely versatile entertainer who channels back to the great days of the Big Band Swing era. His loyal fans know him as 'The Crooner' and he lives up to the title in every sense of the word, crooning with a smooth and classy sound while singing standards from the Great American Songbook.
