Salute! Based in Los Angeles/Toronto, I am an extremely versatile and experienced singer/songwriter with a background in Jazz, Soul and Pop. I was a finalist in the 2017 Canadian, and International Songwriting contests. I have worked alongside Grammy Award Winner Ian Cross (Janet Jackson), and world renowned producers Jam and Delgado (Aqua).
I specialize in songwriting, production, mixing, and programming. A Berklee Alumnus (Songwriting), my focus is on solid composition and making people dance. I've also done many voiceovers for the Brazilian corporate world over the past five years.

Honestly I've been writing since I first was allowed on my father's MPC in the early 90s. I really wanted to push myself into this musical entertainment industry and obstacles over my pursuance. Although I keep writing, I know it can be utilized where it belongs for those who are willing to combine music with intellect.
Artist, songwriter, and California -born record producer James Kaye has almost done it all. From performing internationally with DJ Pauly D and being on MTV, writing songs with Kanye West and French Montana, and coming fresh off a 28 city tour as a DJ, Kaye is no stranger to the music business.
