Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I'm specifally proud of the Women's Euro 2017 project that I've worked on. I've created the opening song for the Official Women's Euro 2017 and I was in the stadium when it played!

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on new singles for my Husman alias. Next to that I'm working on 2 productions for clients via my company N-H Productions.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Not at the moment.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both! Why only use one when you can combine both?

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will always take your production on with great care and produce to the best of my ability. Next, to that, I always keep professionalism to the high regard and keep my client's information confidential.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Being the creator of music. Bringing ideas to life, and working with ideas by other people of which I might never have thought!

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Is this something you can do? I most of the time answer, yes, an always give an explanation of what are my ideas for the given request.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That an artist has to be everything, like a DJ has to be a producer, a social media manager, a general manager.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is it that you are looking for? Any examples of what you'd like to receive? Any specific instruments/sounds or melodies that you'd like?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Always trust your gut feeling and see hold communication as high regard. Most problems and solutions will come through good or bad communication.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My Modular Synthesizer, My Ableton Push 2, Scarlett 2i2, Rokit RP5, Komplete Kontrol

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been producing for 10 years now and have graduated as a music producer on the Rockacademie in Tilburg. I've been releasing on labels like Armada Music and Spinnin' Records for the past years and have made multiple productions for all sorts of clients.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Energetic, Powerful, Mysterious and Clean.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work together with Hans Zimmer, because I'd really like to know how he goes about his productions.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Sidechain your reverb and delay to your vocals, this way your vocals will still sound clear in the mix yet have that big and wide feeling.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work on Electronic Dance Music. Varying from Electro to Trance to House.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill that I possess is to be able to be a chameleon when it comes to styles. I can produce all kinds of styles, from pop music to cinematic music, house music, and trance music.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: The thing I always try to achieve is to create original top class production whilst always keeping the wishes of the client as the main priority.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I usually start at the piano and go from there into the computer.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work with Ableton Live 10 and all the latest software. Next, to that, I utilize my Ableton Push 2 to enhance my workflow and my Komplete Kontrol keyboard to play my melodies.

A: Mostly producers & Composers like Hans Zimmer & Zedd.

A: The most common work I do for client is Full Productions, Partial Productions, Mixing & Mastering.
