Hello Everyone! :) I am a mixing, mastering, and recording engineer based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Through the use of industry standard equipment and techniques, I will make your music radio-ready with all of the effects, fidelity, impact, and clarity that has become customary for commercial releases.
I've collaborated with artists including Jon Batiste, Sufjan Stevens, Ra Ra Riot, Panama Wedding, Pete Francis of Dispatch, Hiromi, Peter Himmelman, Ryan Andrews, Rebecca Brandt, Miles and many more. I'm an American Songwriting Award-Winning Artist, a Grammy short-listed Producer, and a Professor at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
I specialize in horns. I love to write parts and record. I want to help make your song pop with that sweet horn sound! I have 20 years experience playing saxophone and 10 years recording, mixing and producing. For those reasons I have an in-depth understanding about how horns can give your track an extra edge.
When I take on a project, my main objective is to bring out the strengths of the artist. It is not about imprinting myself on the project. I will work with you to fully understand your vision for the project. I can work with your pre-recorded tracks or as an experienced studio and touring musician, adding any additional tracking you might need.
