Experienced Session Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter and producer. I have played for Sam Smith, Marika Hackman and Tricky as a session guitarist.. well, Marika was Guitar, Bass, Keys, Percussion and Backing Vocals!! I have also self released two albums of my own under the name Paul Noels, The Riff Raff and Serve The Servants.
An accomplished songwriter, music producer, and audio-engineer experienced in Pro-Tools, Logic, and Ableton. I am also a multi-instrumentalist, drummer and percussionist, who used to drum for Sam Smith. In particular, I specialise in jazz/funk and world percussion.
From working as an engineer for MPG and BRIT award winning producers, leading to credits with artists such as Madness, Tom Walker, Marika Hackman and James, I've been lucky to learn a lot of my craft. Alongside this I've worked on numerous of my own production and band projects refining my skills.
With over a decade of experience recording and mixing music, I have built full analog studios as well as worked with great results in compact digital studios. I love working with stems and creating three dimensional, rich sounding mixes that bring songs to life. I also work as a session accordion player, pianist, guitarist and mandolin player.
