Nathaniel Smith (a.k.a NAWMS) is a Toronto-based producer, artist, mix engineer and overall music enthusiast. Passionate, innovative and completely obsessed about creating music. NAWMS employs a plethora of genre warping elements alongside experimental sound design to create a truly unique listening experience.

My productions have appeared on Lifetime, Hallmark, Hbo, Great American Family with radio charting singles in Europe and the United States. As an Artist/Songwriter, I've been signed to Universal, Sony, BMG and Disney. I've written songs for Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Sabrina Carpenter and Lady A, to name a few. My songs have been in TV shows/movies on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Showtime, Disney Channel & more. I won a CCMA in 2020 for Songwriter of the Year & have written several #1 songs.

I've got nearly 15 years experience recording, mixing, and mastering anything from Acoustic singer-songswriters to Jam Bands, primarily focusing on Emo, and various punk adjacent genres. I currently play bass in a band called Sleeper Creek where I also co-produce the music we put out, I'm the co-owner of Secret House Recording based in Philly.
