Hey, My name is Murph. I go by the name YMTK (Young Murph the kidd). I'm originally from Oakland, CA but I've lived in Los Angles for the last 10 years or so. I was raised with an appreciation for all different types of good music. My mom has been a gospel singer since she was a young girl & she definitely passed the love for music down to me.
I haven't worked a full time day job since 2005. I used to juggle 35+ projects all at once and in doing so I've completed mixing an average of one full length release a month since 2007, and every year a handful of projects I've mixed for clients win awards locally here in the Twin Cities.

I've been singing & playing piano since the age of 2, keyboards/synths since late 70's. Have worked for Yamaha Publishing Japan, recorded in Abbey Road Studios, and working as a composer I have my songs recorded by other artists. With releases in Japan
