Hi, my name is Ahren. I'm a fulltime freelance multi-instrumentalist. I play several instruments at studio level proficiency: Guitar (acoustic, electric, baritone), Pedal Steel, Mandolin, Dobro, Electric Bass, Classical Guitar, Lap Steel, and I also make string arrangements (up to quartet)

I've been recording remotely since 2008. I may be young in the field of recording but I do pay close attention to sound and how my playing and drums should sit and feel in a song. My main influences include Ricky Lawson, Dennis Chambers, Jeff Pocaro & Chris Dave amongst many others as I am in a constant state of learning.

With great experience and working together with the best professionals in the industry, my only goal is to deliver pure art from the heart of the artist all the way to the ears of their fans.

Located in the DM(V) area I've been creating music and manipulating sounds, helping artists bring their visions to life for 13+ years. As well as mixing records I also provide custom beats & artwork for clients in need of those additional services. Nothing is more exciting than birthing our ideas and thoughts into reality as a cohesive unit.

D'kaybee Studios was setup in London in 1998 and moved operation to Ghana in 2000, where we produced many hit records. I am a producer, artist, recording, mixing and masteting engineer with over 20 years experience. I am classically trained and have an ear for many genres. I always strive for the best finished sound possible.

Lyrics are the story behind the song. I have written over 100 sets of song lyrics. The subjects I write revolve around introspection and nostalgia. Most are written from personal experiences and thoughts, but are written in a way that makes them relatable to anyone.
