Mixing and mastering for all genres of EDM, instrumental or with vocals. I have experience in mixing and mastering including but not limited to DnB, house, techno, synthwave, and dubstep.
I'm Merodi, an independent producer, artist, and content creator. I have over four years of experience in production, mixing, and mastering, and I'm looking to gather experience working with other artists and producers, and provide the service of bringing a crisp and professional sound to any EDM mix.
During the process I will provide consistent communication. I'm open to changes throughout the process, and I will send periodic updates, or more frequent updates upon request.
My prices are on the lower end because I am looking to build my portfolio, and would like to provide a quality service for a palatable price.

Interview with Merodi
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the time of this interview, I'm currently working on putting together my debut LP, Strawberry Kiwi!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid- Different situations definitely call for different setups. The humanity and warmth of analog can bring a huge sound to a mix, but sometimes the flexibility and reliability of digital proves to be a necessity.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will provide consistent communications and updates on all projects, and a high-quality end result tailored to the individual customer.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop of course, followed by my Behringer Poly D, Launchkey 25, Pocket Operator, and Earthquake Devices Dispatch Master pedal.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path is to become an independent musician and producer, and I've been working towards it for five or six years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is very fluid. As I've mentioned, I've worked in a lot of genres before, but overall, melodic drum n bass has to be my primary focus. It's definitely it's own brand, but I could compare it to the styles of Feint and Koven's dnb tracks.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd absolutely love to work on a track with Kevin Walkman someday, his lyrics are always on point and his melodies stand out to me, and I think I could really take on his pop sort of sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: My biggest tip for any independent artist has to be spend time doing everything. Take dedicated time doing sound design, writing, mixing, everything in the process, and make sure you set aside time to grow in every area, to give yourself the tools to keep yourself from being stuck at any point in the creative process.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All types of EDM. I've produced drum n bass, synthwave, techno, dubstep, house, and ambient hip-hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing and sound design are my strongest suites.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Nearly five years of experience, and a creative atmosphere with a variety of high-end plugins to ensure each stem gets the exact sound it needs. I take pride in making sure I don't rush any element of the process, going in with as much fine tuning as needed, and giving the track time as not to make any judgements on fatigued ears.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For producing, I'll typically lay down either a chord progression or a melody, and build from there. I'll mix as I go, fine tuning each sound as I add it in, and layer in elements until I have a full mix. Once I have a first draft down, I'll step back, take some time to rest my ears, and come back the next day with fresh ears to finish mixing. Once the mix is finalized, sometimes after 2 or 3 days of mixing, I'll make sure the volume and tone is matched to something that'll sound in place on streaming services.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I typically work out of my desk, with a M2 MacBook Pro, a Samson Q9U microphone, and a Roli LUMI keyboard. For some tracks I'll take it out to my recording area, where I work with, most notably, a Behringer Poly D, Yamaha digital piano, and a Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A few of my first inspirations have to be SharaX and Capital Kings. However, as I've grown as an artist I've dabbled in just about every genre of EDM, since taking pages out of the books of Tokyo Machine, Deadmau5, Skrillex, and Fox Stevenson.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'll take the stems for a song, and mix them into a polished, crisp track that meets the industry standards of tone, dynamic, and volume, and highlights every element in a way that's memorable.
