I mix & master music for post-punk/new wave and rock/indie bands. My background in BBC radio means my mixes are radio-ready and have been used on several commercial releases so I'll help bands release a mix that'll get them noticed. My mixes have been described as sounding "clear, modern" and "up-front". Credits & major artist experience.

When mixing records, I provide that “larger than life” feel without losing the real band element. I love big drums (not sound replaced drums) singing in a room with loud guitars. When producing and/or writing I bring melody and emotion out without sounding trite and typical. In my opinion, there’s no formula for radio, just a killer song.

The studio philosophy is simple: Every project is important and every client is special. We want the studio to be comfortable and affordable enough for an artist just starting out AND sophisticated enough for "studio veterans". Our basic rates for recording and mixing are $60/hr, including an engineer. We have been in business for 11 years.
