Hi! I'm Emily and I'm a professional singer songwriter specializing in hooky melodies and harmonies. I perform a blend of pop and folk, but I sing and write in a variety of genres, including electronic, country, and blues.
I grew up between two worlds: my family’s deep ties to Chinese traditional music and the years I spent soaking up producing music. I started playing piano and guzheng (Chinese harp) from a very young age; at the age of 14, I started producing my own songs, then went on to study music production.
