Sound is a wonderful thing; it can bring people together, engage audiences, change moods and deliver information. It can be the final touch on a project that glues it together and brings it to life. Despite this sound can sometimes feel like an abstract concept. This is where my specialism will be of use.
Julien Pannetier, better known as VIQ, brings a fresh perspective to the electronic and indie music scene. Born and raised in France, VIQ grew up surrounded by music, splitting his time between skateboarding and drawing inspiration from electronic pioneers such as Massive Attack, LORN, Justice, Daft Punk, and others.
Everybody could produce, but not everyone can tell a story with their productions. Having good lyrics or instrumental melodies is not enough if you don’t know how to create expressivity, storytelling and feelings. Making good music is not just how your song sounds, but it’s mostly how you make people feel while they are listening to it.
