Liz has a vast array of experience as a session musician and can both expertly record composed cello lines as well as improvise to add an extra layer of emotion to a track.

I'm a highly experienced Session Violinist with artists including Michael Bublé, Pulp, Rick Astley, Ella Henderson, Belle & Sebastian, Cinematic Orchestra, JAMES and The Courteeners.

Sound engineers are artists too! My approach is free-form and instinctive, I see the sound engineer as a musician and the mix as a performance. Think of how a pianist plays a piano, or a drummer hits a drum kit; I use knobs, switches and buttons. I'm an experienced pop session harpist (electric + pedal harp) as well as a songwriter/collaborator. For many years I've worked with Jarvis Cocker on 'Jarv Is' and tv film soundtrack work and am a founder member of post-punk experimental pop quartet Bas Jan (Fire Records).

I'm a thoughtful, creative, and highly musical Producer, Song Doctor, and Mixer. I enjoy working as much with songs at the early, nebulous stage, as I do working on beautifully crafted, ready-to-go pieces.
