Sound engineers are artists too! My approach is free-form and instinctive, I see the sound engineer as a musician and the mix as a performance. Think of how a pianist plays a piano, or a drummer hits a drum kit; I use knobs, switches and buttons. Sonelab is a full service recording studio located in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. We offer a 3,000 square foot facility including a large live room, two iso rooms, and one drum room. The studio is owned and operated by Mark Alan Miller and Justin Pizzoferrato
I co-own a studio in Easthampton, MA called Sonelab. I've been engineering in professional studios since 2003.
