Mixing

Tim was kind enough to take us (Turning Virtue, an unknown independent band from Buffalo, NY under his wing in 2016) and now in 2024 we just finished our 3rd album with him!
We are always in awe of his mixing and producing prowess. We play progressive rock/metal and our tunes are as varied as it gets and Tim doesn't miss a beat.
In fact, he makes every song we give him 10 times better.
Yep, pure passion and genius is what Tim Palmer is and what you'll get!
One more thing, he makes us feel as though we are as important as any major label band that he mixes, seriously how cool is that?

I still remember the first song Tim mixed for my band, Sons Of Silver. My expectations were high. Tim’s discography is legendary. Nonetheless, I was nervous for that first listen. I wasn’t alone, either. Sitting with me was my wife, who's also my engineer and co-producer. We’d given over one of our babies to Tim for mixing and we needed the mix to be great. Well, about sixty seconds into playback, I looked over at my wife and she was crying tears of joy. Tim didn’t meet our high expectations, he exceeded them. There’s a reason Tim’s worked with so many of the greats: he’s one of them.

I first worked with Tim at Utopia in the early 80s while I was the guitarist in Dead Or Alive & Tim was the tape-op. He soon & easily became an essential member of the team. And has remained part of my team ever since, having worked with each other in one way or another in every decade since. Tim ‘get’s it’. That is such a valuable attribute that can never be taught or learned. It’s innate.
As well being a super engineer and mixer he was a brilliant producer too. I wish he still would produce in the way he did with The Mission in the 80s & early 90s. Top top man. And pro.

Tim is top-notch! I've worked with great professionals before, and I can say Tim has that extra something. Mixing my work with him elevated the music to another level. He contributed significantly by adding his vision and musically contributing with great taste. Thank you, Tim!

Tim has done some of the mixes for Beauty In Chaos and they are always stellar . We are so fortunate to have him involved .
He will always make sure that what you give him , turns out great . I would highly recommend him to mix anything you do .
He has tremendous credits and experience but he will always put his heart into anything that comes across his desk to mix no matter whose name is on it .

Tim is one of the finest producers and recording/mixing engineers on the planet. I have worked with him on multiple projects where he contributed his creativity as both a producer and mix engineer. Tim goes above and beyond for the artists he works with, and your music is better in the end when he is involved. Frankly, this is what enables him to create and keep happy clients and I count myself lucky to be one of them. If you are reading this, just hire him. His resume of work is unmatched. Tim is THE guy.

Tim Palmer is one of the elite producers/mixers of our generation hands down. Every song that Del Castillo has been blessed to have Tim mix has been elevated to a whole new level. It’s no wonder why many of the albums he’s mixed and produced by artists we all know and love have become classics! Super charismatic and down to earth as well! Much love and respect for Tim!

An absolute legend ... yet a pure joy to work with. Tim has mixed as well as created multiple 're-envisions' for Beauty In Chaos. His ability to create sonic-space is 2nd to none. He understands what a 'song' is and know just what to do to highlight it. Bravo Mr. Palmer! Many of my fave records have been touched by this man.

Tim is one of the premier mixers working today. I've worked with him a few times over the years and it's always a joy. Super easy to work with and his attention to detail is second to none.The mixes always come out warm, full and exciting. Top man.
