After living in LA and working at the American Music Awards and the GRAMMYs, I moved to London in late 2011 and back to Lisbon in 2018. Since then I have worked as a freelance engineer and producer with artists on both sides of the Atlantic and India, recording, mixing, remixing, programming, arranging, orchestrating.

I am the drummer of covers band Echo Vibe (www.echovibe.uk), based in London. We have been doing mostly pop-rock covers that people may dance to. We play in pubs and we do corporate functions and parties (weddings, etc.).

Johnny Helms has over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, most notably working in music. He has been the owner and operator of the Music Lab in Niagara Falls NY since 2009 where he has worked as a composer, producer, musician and audio engineer.
