World music stars Nitin Sawhney, Natacha Atlas, Ernest Ranglin, and Ibrahim Maalouf;

Andy also plays Chromatic Harmonica on many albums and whilst cycling!
(The instrument played by Stevie Wonder and Toots Thielemans).

    Andy's played for some great musicians & big names, but here's why he's great to work with: a down-to-earth, friendly, excellent musician who'll really listen to your music, produce amazing ideas, and act on feedback. Isn't that what you want from the process?
    As for the result, it's an amazing upright bass part - lovely tone, steady when the song needs it, and going beautifully crazy when the song needs it too.
    Wholeheartedly recommend Andy, to provide whatever kind of bass you need.

    Andy did a great job with my song. He got all the nuance of the form and the attitude of the song. I literally almost cried when he landed on the final note it was so right in with the guitar and piano. So glad I found him.

    I sent Andy another two folky singer songwriter tracks that needed upright bass, and once again he nailed it. He was quick to respond and quick to deliver the recorded stems, all of which were played beautiful, and recorded to a high standard. Really happy!

    I needed some upright bass parts for a couple of folky tracks I was working on and Andy responded quickly and with enthusiam.

    I'd asked him to record some variations to the written parts, so he provided various takes which were really well recorded and delivered quickily. He's a creative player and his additions to the written parts worked brilliantly. It was a great experience working with Andy, and I will do so again!

    A very special sound with great intonation, and a creative use of broken chords and harmonics.

    Andy is such a wonderful bass player and person to work with. It's magical having him play on my songs, such beautiful playing, melodic lines and grooves, adapting to always to suit the needs of the song. Immensely talented and experienced across a wide range of genres. Also a fabulous chromatic harmonica player! I look forward to continuing working with Andy.
