I am an independent musician that has been working for over 2 years and I have worked on many of my own projects and I am looking to help out others.
Makena has written for has cuts American Idol top 24 contestant Olivia Soli, Paige Anne, and Carlina. With placements in UFC Promos, and worked notable talents such as Krunkadelic (Lauren Spencer Smith) and been mentored by Shelly Peiken (Christina Aguilera.)
I've been recording remotely since 2008. I may be young in the field of recording but I do pay close attention to sound and how my playing and drums should sit and feel in a song. My main influences include Ricky Lawson, Dennis Chambers, Jeff Pocaro & Chris Dave amongst many others as I am in a constant state of learning.
