Up and coming Audio Engineer trying to get his start
Live in Texas now, I was in Key West for the last 4 years at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville (FOH) worked many years in New Orleans as (FOH) and monitor systems.
I'm a producer, composer, arranger, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist with a dark/indie/cinematic aesthetic. Having also worked in film, I like to create music that is surprising, off-kilter, rich with sound design, unsuspecting structures and unique harmonies. I've played the drums and piano since I was a kid both of which inform everything I do!
Hey im Zack Carlisle. I'm a drummer first and have been mixing and tinkering on and off since 2014. I have taken deep dives into live drum productions and vocal chains - recreating tones of Tame Impala, Motown, The Wall of sound, and even more Hip-Hop oriented material. (J-dilla, Fly-lo, Neptunes). Drums and Vocals chains are the most important!
