I'm Alvin Laguerre, also known as Alvin the Architect. Born in Haiti and moved to the US in '09, I blend Hip Hop to inspire. As a devoted husband, father, and music producer, songwriter, and mixing/mastering engineer, I infuse every note with personal depth to build people up and create impactful, resonant experiences.
Classically trained, instinct led - real music for real stories. I've been composing and arranging music for film, theatre and TV for years with music appearing on Netflix, BBC and a range of commercial campaigns, independent films and theatre productions.
I believe great guitar tracks start with the player, the instrument, and the amp. I record real amplifiers with microphones and focus on creating parts that serve the song rather than showcasing technology. My goal is to capture a guitar sound that already feels like a record before the microphone signal reaches the DAW
