Composer and String Arranger

I've been composing and arranging music for film, theatre and TV for over a decade with music appearing on Netflix, BBC, PBS, CNN and a range of commercial campaigns, independent films and theatre productions.

I've been interested in music's power for direct, nuanced emotional connection since I was a child. With years of classical training in piano and clarinet, I applied my love of melody and nuanced harmony to my interest in electroacoustic, immersive textures to create cinematic soundworlds that fuse orchestral textures, delicate piano and electronic ambience.

My composition work has soundtracked numerous theatre productions in the UK such as Hedda Gabler (Sherman Theatre) and 1984 (Theatre Royal Bath), a variety of independent films and TV shows such as 'Selling Sunset' and 'Countryfile', and commercial breaks and continuity for primetime TV on major US channels including Discovery and CNN.

As an arranger I have worked with theatre composer and sound designer Giles Thomas to create string arrangements for productions including Equus (National Theatre) and Romeo & Juliet (Regents Park Open Air Theatre). I also provided string arrangements on Damian Montagu's No. 1 classical album 'In A South Downs Way'.
