I'm Susan G, an independent recording artist and songwriter based in Seattle. My sound lives somewhere between an old-school jazzy speakeasy and 90s R&B, with influences like Erykah Badu, Justin Bieber, and Teddy Swims. If your track needs a melody and lyric that feel warm, soulful, and authentic, that's what I love to write.

How it works: send me your track along with any direction you have. References, a theme, a mood, or a totally blank slate all work for me. I'll write the topline, record the vocals, and send everything back, usually within 1 to 2 days.
What you'll receive: 1 to 3 full lead vocal takes, plus harmonies and ad libs, delivered as clean, dry WAV stems. Vocals are unedited and untuned so you have full control over comping, tuning, and processing in your mix. One free revision is included, because I want you to love the final result.
Rights and rates: My standard rate includes the topline and vocals, and I retain my writer's share of the song. If you need a full buyout (work for hire), that's available at a higher rate.
